Our Teachers
Mme. Brost
Mme. Brost is our preschool teacher. She is the heart and soul of our classroom and is a passionate educator who specializes in learning through play. She transforms the classroom to take her students inside of real life, seasonally and age appropriate situations while maintaining structure and teaching real life values.
Mme. Brost has her diploma in Early Childhood Education. She has worked for a school division for 5 years and then transitioned to a preschool for 7 years. She is married and is a mom to 2 teen daughters. She took 8 years as a stay at home mom to raise her children, during which time she moved to North Battleford. When she returned to work she then joined Le Petit Monde in August of 2019.
Amy's Vision
To create a fun and engaging environment that sparks creativity and promotes learning through play. The monthly themes are realistic and really immerses the children in their learning.
Mme. Bodvarson
Lesli Bodvarson is the preschool Educational Assistant. This will be her second year at the preschool in this role. The majority of Lesli’s work experience is in nursing as this is where her education was focused. After moving to North Battleford and getting married in 2016 she changed career paths working as an Educational Assistant with the Living Sky’s School Division, working with children with high medical needs. After having her own 2 children and being on the Board of Directors at Le Petit Monde she filled the position at the preschool.

Morning Classes:
Arrival 8:45am – 9:00am
Class hours 9:00am – 11:45am
Pick up 11:45am – 12:00pm
Arrival 12:30pm – 12:45pm
Class hours 12:45pm – 3:30pm
Pick up 3:30pm – 3:45pm
Hours are strictly observed. Doors are unlocked at the beginning of the arrival time.
Learning Through Dramatic Play
Learning at Petit Monde Preschool is fun and engaging with curated themes that are always changing and fun field trips!
Seesaw Family App
We use the Seesaw Family App as a convenient way to provide parents with updates, monthly calendars, newsletters and class information. After you register with Petit Monde Preschool, you will receive an email invitation to your child’s Seesaw journal.
